Setrab ProLine SSTD Oil Coolers - Super Standard

Setrab ProLine SSTD (super standard) oil coolers represent the top tier in an already superior system of high-performance oil radiators. The modification of the internal turbulators allow for more movement of oil and greater exposure to the cooling surface area, resulting in greater capacity for heat rejection per cubic inch. This is accomplished while maintaining the same minimal pressure drop and superior flow characteristics that our customers have come to expect.

The SSTD cooler is available in a 3-series width, with the option for 32 or 60 rows. These specific sizes were decided upon for their similarity to our most popular oil coolers and, therefore, their ability to provide the broadest coverage of applications in just two sizes. Both SSTD coolers perform exceptionally as engine and transmission coolers when available space is an issue and a higher heat reduction capacity is needed.

Setrab ProLine oil coolers feature low-profile M22x1.5 female ports, adaptable to any common size you may need using sūsa ProLine Adapter Fittings.

Notes:

Mounting: Setrab SSTD ProLine oil coolers are to be mounted securely and isolated from vibration and flex. We recommend and offer mounting bracket kits for this reason, though custom brackets and mounting solutions may be used so long as the previously noted conditions are met.

Sizing: The size of a cooler is dependent on system requirements. If you are unsure what size cooler you may need. Please use our contact page for a system consultation. Mounting and placement of the cooler are essential to its success. Size of lines is dependent on the cooling application: transmissions usually use -06 or -08, engine oil coolers commonly use -10 or -12 but could use size -06 to -16 depending on oil flow.

Orientation: When orienting the cooler, if the ports are unable to be plumbed facing up or down, it is recommended to plumb the cooler so that the inlet port is below the outlet.
